Zastera Sprinter Review

This is going to be the first of many reviews to come.
On monday i tried out a zastera sprinter small. It was in training spec and is a fine racing boat. It weighed 9kg.
I picked up the boat and it had extremely easy balance to hold compared to an older style winged boat I used before (Marsport Cougar). The boat was unstable, yet not twitchy at all allowing me to do a smooth fast technique without feeling uncomfortable. Luckily I didn't fall in either. The boat cut through the water very nicely and was strong and rigid. It had a large rocker allowing good glide on each stroke for marathon. Although the tiller bar was about a foot long so I struggled too steer the boat which was quite irritating but someone could quite easily cut that a few inches shorter.
All in all I'd say the boat was a very high quality boat and is very cheap for such good quality at a starting price of £1190 from the UK resellers, Extreme G
The boat gets 4 out of 5 stars from me.
Here is a link to the zastera website were you can order the boats from. (use this if your from the US).

Banbury Hasler

Recently there was the Banbury hasler race of the hasler series in the UK. The race was well organised, and nothing seemed to go wrong, with people from across the country coming to attend the final hasler of this calendar year.
